1Day 01 : Arrival in Thimphu.
Arrival Bagdogra and Transfer to Phuentsholing. On arrival at Bagdogra, you will be received by our guide and transfer to Phuentsholing. After the immigration clearance, transfer to your hotel in Phuentsholing. Overnight Thimphu.

2Day 02 : Thimphu.
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Thimphu. On arrival at Thimphu check in your hotel. Later proceed to visit nearby to Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang). Located at a short drive from Thimphu city centre, visitors can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley from the Buddha point (KuenselPhodrang). You can pay your obeisance and offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley. King's Memorial Chorten continuously circumambulated by people, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels. Construction of this landmark was the idea of Bhutan’s third king, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk (“the father of modern Bhutan”) who has wished to erect monument to world peace and prosperity. Completed in 1974 after his untimely death, it serves both as a memorial to the Late King and as a monument to peace. Evening visit to Trashichhoedzong: This impressive fortress/monastery houses Secretariat building, the throne room of His Majesty, the King and various government offices. It is also the summer residence of Chief Abbot and central monk body. Visit the newly Kaja Thorm, a beautifully setup farmers market with many interesting visual and fun sites to enjoy from Farm produce, animal products, cereals, incense powder and sticks, flowers and plants and admire while munching on some good food. 3Day 03 : Thimphu – Paro.
After breakfast, sightseeing in Thimphu valley including visit to the following: National Institute of Zorig Chusum, where you’ll meet young students who are learning and preserving Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts including painting, woodcarving and embroidery. Visit the National Library, housing an extensive collection of priceless Buddhist manuscripts; visit the postal museum, here you can make your own stamp at your own expenses , Folk Heritage Museum, dedicated to connect people with the rich Bhutanese Folk heritage and rural history through exhibits, demonstrations, educational programs and documentation of Bhutanese rural life. Visit the postal museum where you can make stamps with your own photos (USD10 for 12 stamps, at your expense). Later drive to upper Motithang in Thimphu to visit Takin Preserve. The Takin is the national animal of Bhutan, and looks like a cross between a cow and a goat. Legend has it that the animal was created by the great Buddhist yogi, Drukpa Kuenley, and it can be found only in Bhutan and nearby areas. Taxonomists place the animal in a category of its own as it is not similar enough to any other animal to fit established categories. Visit nearby simply Bhutan, a “live” Museum with an interactive environment where you can presume to live a life of a traditional Bhutanese lifestyle in just one visit. A mud rammed house with wooden shingles used as roof showcases a medieval traditional Bhutanese house. The interior is filled with restored and preserved ancient household items to highlight and exhibit the traditional way of life. The living museum aims to preserve and promote the ancient tradition and culture. Afternoon , drive up to Dochu-la pass (3,088m/ 10,130 ft) stopping briefly here to take stopping briefly here to take in the view and admire the chorten, mani wall, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road. If skies are clear, the following peaks can be seen from this pass (left to right): Masagang (7,158m), Tsendagang (6,960m), Terigang (7,060m), Jejegangphugang (7,158 m ), Kangphugang (7,170 m ), Zongphugang (7, 060 m ), a table mountain that dominates the isolated region of Lunana - finally Gangkar puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan at 7,497m. Later drive to Paro. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

4Day 04 : Thimphu – Paro.
After breakfast take excursion to Taktshang Monastery (approx. 5 hours round trip walk): It is one of the most famous of Bhutan’s monasteries, perched on the side of a cliff 900m above the Paro valley floor. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hence it is called ‘Tiger’s Nest’. This site has been recognised as a most sacred place and visited by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646 and now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. The hike to the monastery makes a splendid half day excursion.

5Day 05 : Paro- Phuentsholing.
After breakfast proceed to visit Ta Dzong, originally built as Watchtower, which now houses National Museum. The extensive collection includes antique thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons & armour, household objects and a rich assortment of natural and historic artifacts.Then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, meaning (“fortress of the heap of jewels”), which has a long and fascinating history. Along the wooden galleries lining the inner courtyard are fine wall paintings illustrating Buddhist lore such as four friends, the old man of long life, the wheel of life, scenes from the life of Milarepa, Mount. Sumeru and other cosmic Mandala. After lunch, tranfer to Phuentsholing. Check in your hotel. Overnight Phuentsholing

6Day 06 : Phentsholing to Bagdogra.
After breakfast transfer to Bagdogra
